Some say it is a Bad or SLOW market. So when is a good time to buy or sell? Frankly in our experience, there is NO bad time to sell if the property is in good condition and is presented well. We have already closed this month (and last ) houses at the top or higher than any house in the neighborhoods. They were in very good condition and had great curb appeal. One sold in 3 days, one in less than a month. Both buyers are very happy.
Anyone who has been in real estate for any length of time knows that an interest rate of 6.5% is not bad. My first house was at 7%. I sold LOTS of houses at interest rates that were higher than that. It makes it more difficult for some buyers to qualify, but having the American dream of home ownership is achievable.
